Berlin provides a high quality and dense network of public transportation. Countless underground-trains, s-trains, buses and trams make it extremely easy and comfortable to make your way through the city. Even at night it is not a problem to get along. The trains run throughout  the whole night on weekends. During the week you can easily use the night buses. The public transport runs till about 1 am and starts again by 4.30 am. Moreover the berlin public transportation is quite cheap compared to many other german cities (single fare from € 2,30 and day-pass from € 6,30).
