Ever since the early 20th century, Berlin is one of the most attractive cities in the world for art and artists. The city is always changing, is divers and contradictory. Every two years Berlin presents itself as the forum of contemporary art – the Biennale offers a platform for a dialogue between artists, people interested in art, the city and the public. Here you can experience Berlin as an art metropolis between bohemia and avant-garde. The Bienale will take place from 27th of April to 1st of July 2012.

With more the 100.000 visitors, supported by the German art fund, and with more than 900 publications in the daily press and the art papers the Biennale is a huge happening. This year, the Movie theatre arsenal, the theatre HAU and the Institute of Cotemporary Art Berlin will be, amongst others, the exhibition venues. The whole spectrum between art movie and performance, between music and painting will be presented. Just check the Biennale website and look at their program.
