Since 1992 this awesome event takes place at the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin’s historical center. The fantastic architectural scenery of the great old buildings at this main square works perfectly well with concerts between Opera and Jazz. Together with good weather an amazing Berlin highlight!

Taking place from 25th to 28th of May right next to the Grand Hostel, the Carnival of Cultures is an emotionally stirring event full of atmosphere and joy. Every year hundreds of thousand visitors come to Berlin to experience the stirring energy of the various stages at the street festival and the cultural diversity of the Carnival procession on May, 27th.
 

Annually a literary festival designed all around fairy tales takes place in November. This year the about the USA. Between November, 10th and 27th many Berliner venues will stage the tales and myths - clearly not only for a young audience.
